Hard Country Ram

Chauncey sent us a picture of his Ram hunted in the Northwest Territories (Canada). He was using his .270 Winchester and the 117 grain Hammer Hunter running at 3350 FPS. At a distance of 120 yards, he said, "the ram was on the move quartered away, bullet exited in front of his off side shoulder. Dropped in his tracks."

The 117's shoot great in my ULA/270 @3300. Think I have the Shock Hammers, the one with the bigger hollow point. My wife drew a sheep tag, will that bullet do just fine for her?
