Never been to that part, only BC. I was leaning more toward the Yukon in my statement tho, or, anywhere from the top of the Rockys to the Pacific, & Alaska. I gotta have my mountains, & big ol bears & other critters to hunt. Rich French Canadian trapping history in Oregon too. Hey,our mascot is a freakin Beaver for goodness sake. If it wasn't for Hudson's Bay & many other brave independent trappers, trapping in Oregon, & a ton of fur trade history, we may have a cool mascot, but, it is what it is, because of history. I'm a sentimental history nut. High mountains, & empty spaces, This kind of country is where I feel at home. I've been a lot of different places in the US, & everywhere else I've been is too crowded, or too flat, or both. Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, & Colorado & Id imagine north of here wouldn't be much different. Anything else just won't do, for this cowboy, except maybe Arizona, & New Mexico. Seems to run from the Rocky Mountains to the west coast, & north or I'm just on edge, & uncomfortable, & crowded. I'm sure there are great places farther east too. I just haven't been the to see it yet. Only been as far west as Texas so far.
