Gun Refinishing

Was just looking for some opinions on refinishing the metal on my rifle. I've been looking at a cerakote or duracoat finish. Gun is parkerized now but getting pretty worn. I also would like to make it green but don't want to paint this one. Just curious to hear what others are using or have had good or bad luck with.

Cerakote in my opinion is tough to beat when applied correctly.

I have used dura coat on several of my own and others rifles, shotguns, and pistols. It is very easy to use and holds up well. It also comes in many colors including green. The best thing is you do not have to bake it on. I do not know if you have ever tried putting a barreled action in an oven but it does not fit to well.
