Shot this about 7:30 this morning. He never gave me a good shot so I new I wouldn't get a pass thru. It was a quartering away at a bad angle. Just before he went in the woods I pulled the trigger. After looking and finding no blood I called a friend of mine that has a Lab that tracks wounded deer. He brought Sky over and in no more than 5 minutes she found him. Nothing like a good dog. It wasn't a long shot only just over 200yds with my 6x47. Thanks Dan

Nice deer and nice rifle! Those blood trailing dogs come in handy every now and then.

This dog didn't have any blood. She did it on scent alone. It is really fun to watch her work. Dan

Nice buck, i like how his right brow time bends out and the end of his left antler dips down.

What bullet? 130 grain VLD im guessing?

The 6x47 shoots the 115 Berger at 3030fps. It does a great job and is very accurate. Dan

I have a golden I'll let you have. The one that finds garbage.....lol

Best part is, she finds it, then she rolls and wiggles on it. Dog is wacky.
