Fujinon spotting scope eyepieces

Hello, All,
I have a Fujinon 80mm spotting scope with need for a new eyepiece.
Does anyone know if another brand will fit as eyepieces for these are apparently right up there with hens' teeth in rarity.

If you have access to a Vortex dealer you might try a Vortex eyepiece. I've been looking into that myself, but I'm not on the road system and it's 177 miles down to Fairbanks. From pictures I'm thinking they'd go.

Since the Fujinon eyepieces are unavailable I bought a Kowa eyepiece. The designs are very similar. It is a few thousandths too large in diameter and I may try to modify it. It has the same bayonet locking system and that fits but the recessed diameter where the bayonet mounts are is very slightly too large. But, if I don't add the modifications then I may add a Kowa to the scopes..
