I have a Remington XR100 switch barrel rifle chambered in 6.5 WSM for sale. Specs: The action is a Remington XR100 single shot that has been fully blue-printed. The bolt and handle is from Dave Kiff and has a coned bolt face. The bolt has a titanium firing pin and a CS spring with a Sako extractor. It has a Jewel trigger that is set to about 1 LB. The action has Leupold Weaver style bases. 2 barrels come with this rifle. Barrel #1 is a stainless Krieger HV 1-8 twist finished at 32 1/2 inches. It has fluted with a unique interupted flute pattern with 152 flutes that are 3/16 wide and 3/16 deep. This barrel, action and bottom metal have been teflon finished in a marbled green and black color. It has a Vais muzzle brake. There have been 40 rounds fired in this barrel. It was throated for Berger 140 gr VLD's. Muzzle diameter is .890. Barrel #2 is also a stainless Krieger HV but has a 1-9 twist and is finished at 31 1/2 inches. This barrel has the same fluting and muzzle brake as barrel #1 but has not been teflon coated. There have been 7 rounds in this barrel to break it in and then was taken off. This barrel was throated for 130 gr and lighter bullets. The stock is a McMillan Varminter with a marbled green, gray and black finish. Length of pull is 13 1/2 inches and has a Decellerator recoil pad. The gun with barrel #1 weighs 11-12 lbs. And a total length of 53 1/4 inches long. Load data: Barrel #1 for 140 grain berger bullets is 67.5 grains of 50bmg shooting at 3180 fps and consistantly shoots in the 1's and 2's. It is very accurate and shoots under a half minute moa at 1400 yards and has been shot accuratly out to a mile! The dies used are redding 270 wsm bushing competition with a .288 titanium bushing for the neck and the regular 270 wsm redding micro seating die. Price $3500.00 OBO. Does not include the scope.
