Like new matte finish side focus Lightseeker 30 with the BDC reticle. Bought last year as a blem/show special, but no markings on the scope and it is literally 100%. Could pass for new. Signature rings so when it comes off the rifle there will be no ring marks.

Best scope I have ever owned for long range shooting but just too big and heavy for me with too much magnification.

If sold I will immediately de-mount to verify there are no marks.

$450 (final reduction on 11/12/08) shipped and insured to CONUS.

Burris Signature 30mm rings $30 extra with the scope.

Hi,
Do you have a picture of the reticle?
And is it possible to you to send in France?
Regards
Dan

Re: Pentax Lightseeker 30 6-24 X 50

To see what the reticle looks like, go here

PENTAX Sport Optics Home

then click on Reticle. The top one is the BDC. Its basically a crosshair with lines corresponding to 300, 400, & 500 yards for most high velocity rifles. Works very nicely, doesn't obsure as much of the target like a thick post or mil-dot.

France is OK but you will have to pay the shipping. USA shipping would have cost me $10, so the cost would be $469 + whatever the shipping is.

And you will have, of course, to pay in US $, and it has to completely clear before I send it.

OK,thanks:i saw on pentax site.
Just one question: what is the small "button" just under the parallax turret? i don't find about it on the web?
And do you have a picture of elevation turret without cap?
No problem about shiping payment to me (it will be around 45$ with insurance)
Do you have a pay pal account?
Dan

Re: Pentax Lightseeker 30 6-24 X 50

I will take a picture of the turret w/o the cap tonight and post it.

The button doesn't do anything, just covers some part of the mechanism.

I will look into Pay-Pal.

Re: Pentax Lightseeker 30 6-24 X 50

Yes that button does do some thing. Can't think of the term they used to sell it. But it Locks the cross Hair reticle. When locked you can't adjust it. Its a stupid dumb *** thing

Re: Pentax Lightseeker 30 6-24 X 50

Final reduction (doesn't pay to sell after this) - $450 shipped and insured to CONUS.

The "button" only covers a heavy duty spring ...There is NO adjustment and the directions with the scope tells you that.

I own two of these scopes, trust me on this.

It is not the "posi-lock" feature you are describing.

Just didn't want people to get confused.
