I'm going to try the 200 Accubonds in my 300WM, not sure which powder I should go with. I have cans of IMR 4350 and 4831 which I was using for other calibers.
Any suggestions?
Thanks Steve

I use 200gr Accubonds with IMR 4350 in my 300WM. I run 68.8gr @ 2850 or so fps. I have gone as high as 69.0 gr @ 2950, but brass life was only for 2 shots or so. As always, start with a lower load and work up. All bullets are seated to fit in the magazine.

Reloader 22 gave me the best mix of velocity and accuracy, but H 4831sc was the most consistant-just a little slower then R22. I have some H1000 but have not tried it.

I have used H4831 forever, still puts 5 into 3/4ths inch groups. If I was starting out, I would have to try R22.

Good hunting. LB

I like H-1000 in my 300 it gives me an extreme spread of 5 fps with winchester case's fed. 215 primer 180 gr.TXS and 81 grains of H-1000

I haven't been doing it all that long but for me so far IMR 4831 and 200gr Accubonds are the best load.

Thanks for the great response! H1000 seems to have quite a few fans.

Bounty Hunter, Why not the magnum primers? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Also, I have a 3.613 OAL, thats .030 less than the lands, does this seem long? Its quite a bit longer than the 3.340 listed as the SAAMI OAL. It needs to be a bit shorter just to clear the receiver while ejecting unfired rounds.Though it works in the mag.

Thanks again for the help! This is a very valuble site.
