I just got done bedding Ernies new 6.5 WSM in one of my custom stocks here is a pic
That is one cool rig.
What is the barrel length and bullet/velocity is it capable of doing?
Looks nice Eric!
I have not done load development yet, so I am unsure.
Looks real nice Ernie. I'm sure you're going to like it.
When I got done working up a load it shot pretty well. I shot some groups at 200 just under 1/2 inch.
Awesome! what bullet and velocity?
I really dig that fluting on a pistol, not so much on a rifle but on that it's sharp!!
130 Berger @ 3085 fps.
3085 is good for a 18" barrel.
Chuck (Mac's Gunworks) did a great job on chambering, brake, and fitting everything and Eric (ewallace) did a great job making the stock and bedding it.
Chuck also did the load development. Just over 1/2" (5-shot group) at 300 yards is pretty good.
I will be using the new NEO Coaxial Rest this week shooting out to 1000 yards and I can't wait
That is some serious looking gun. Fluting really sets it off. Keep us posted on how it shoots. Enjoy.
