Encore barrel , 26\" heavy 308 cal , blued

This is my third barrel I have two that I had cut down and shoot great , I was going to rechamber this one to 300 WSM and leave at 26" but I have changed my mind about the fat cases in the Encore , this barrel is brand new never fired I don't have the box anymore though.
Like I said the two other barrels I have both shot great when new sub 1" with good ammo.
I'm asking $200 shipped and insured.

Can I put a pistol forend on it after I cut it back?

I can't say for sure , my 15" pistol barrel was made from a 26" barrel cut back and a home made forend.
the first screw hole from the lug isexactly 1" from the lug and the other one is 6" from the lug , I can't get a perfect measurement as the calipers are riding on the weld on the lug but they can't me more than a few thousands off

Handgun forend won't fit the rifle barrel.

Just cut it back and use rifle forend.
