Was that thing really old?

On my screen there's gray/white hairs at the base of the nose/around the eyes, looks like an old man.

His teeth are really worn and he has graying,I shot one similar years back with my bow

Sounds like the perfect bear to take, that's a big win for all involved except that one particular animal. Though perhaps he was suffering or about to and it made for a more bearable death... we'll never know.
