it is a twelve twist.. i have not worked up a load i have been shooting custom loaded 243 to fire form brass and it would shoot that in 1/2 in or less.. 55 gr bilistic tip.3825 fps.. i wanted to deer hunt with it but it would not shoot any thing over 75-80 gr.. total rounds 200.. i sold all brass with a switch barrel i had in 6/284 and 243 AI... SOLD 500 NEW 243 BRASS AND DIES. I BOUGHT A NEW 7-08 MODEL 7 REM..

Thank you. I was looking for an 8-10 twist barrel for those very reasons, to shoot a heavier grain (105gr) bullet out of it. Nice piece though for sure, and a very fair price!

Both sets of dies for 875? How old is the action itself and has it been trued? Rather a goofy question since it has an aftermarket barrel but you never know.
