stopped in at the Ft Worth Cabelas and the shelves where totally empty of powder
None on shelf in Waco either..
No primers either. Seems like they don't really worry about restocking.
Hate to see it.
Funny enough, bass pro is the best place to get small rifle primers right now for me.Not many primers anywhere, I don't think there's a single small rifle primer available on the internet.
Still, Cabelas isn't what it once was.

Suppliers are shut down or only half staff lot of powder comes from Australia and a lot of workers lost their house in that fire last year that's why production is way downNone on shelf in Waco either..

The Cabelas in Buffalo, NY has always been a top notch place. The availability of arms, ammo and reloading tools and supplies has been as good as you will find in large chain stores. I HAVE seen a slight decrease in said availability, but these former Cabelas employees are valiantly doing everything they can to maintain their old standards of high quality service. These high quality, knowledgeable people are still in there fighting the good fight, so I will continue to support them. ....CWECabela stores were terrible IMO before they were sold. That is if you wanted powders, primers, etc. If you wanted a ChiComm-made camo flannel nightie for your SO or peanut butter fudge, they had it to the rafters. Haven't stepped foot in one in probably five years. Online was marginally better.
