How are the burris xtr scopes? Looking at nightforce, zeiss v4 and a burris xtr.

XTR II or XTR III? They are different things.
I have 2 XTR III, they are great scopes, robust, tracking is excellent, and glass is great. The zero lock is easy to set, and turret have good clicks. The magnification ring is stiff and somewhat rough to the touch so I bought throw levers. I have no complaint so far.

XTR II have some slop in the dials. Glass is mediocre. XTR III is solid with some bright glass, great resolution.

I also have to XTR III's. Night and day better than my OG-XTR or my XTRII. Glass is a substantial upgrade. I wouldn't hesitate to by another.. .or two.
