I'm helping a friend sell his rifle. I actually took him on his first-ever deer hunt where he shot his first deer at 675yards and got hooked. I gave him this rifle after that hunt because he couldn't afford to buy a rifle. He's moving and changing careers and needs some money so I'm helping him sell this rifle. It's a savage 12 FV Cabelas special 26" heavy barrel 6.5 Creedmoor with the tactical bolt handle and the accu-trigger. He has a 20 moa pic rail and a Nikon Buckmasters 4-14 AO scope on it. He didn't say how much he wanted to get for it but I think $550 shipped for it is a fair price. The rifle shot amazing out of the box zero took 4 rounds and the group was sub-half inch. I took my friend out shooting when I first bought the rifle and had him zero the rifle and then we walked it out to 860yards with first-round hits on every plate. We fired the whole box of 20 rounds Hornady 140gr eld match ammo and when we were done I surprised him and I gave it to him. I think he has only fired about 100 rounds through the rifle at least he said he had about 100 pieces of brass for me to reload (he hasn't started reloading). This would make a great starter rifle for someone wanting to get a rifle for their kid or just a cheap truck gun. I'll post better pictures when he sends them to me.

I have the same gun. It didn't shoot quite that good with factory but definitely with hand loads. Crazy, a gun that cheap shouldn't shoot as good as they do. I bought mine for the action and it's a 22 creedmoor now but if I buy another, I'm going to pull it apart before I even shoot it so I don't feel guilty lol.
