Hey everyone. looking for suggestions. I have 100 rounds of 7mm Mag 160 gr Nosler AB that I am about to have a friend load for me. I have shot AB in the past and had great results, both at the range and taking big game. But this rifle has just been broken in and I am hoping some of you have some first hand experience with this rifle and bullet combo.

Rifle is Browning X Bolt Hells Canyon Speed 7mm Rem Mag with 26" Barrel and Factory Muzzle brake.

Mainly looking for powder type and grains, and what velocities and groups ro expect.

Thank you gents.

Never loaded for the 7Mag, but have a 7STW.
Powder I would recommend is H1000,
RE25, Retumbo, N565, N560, or any of the single base Vhit powders.
The 160gr AB is one tough bullet, so it will give you good results both on game and on target.

Enjoy your new rifle.

Cheers.

Loads I have had the best luck with for my 7mm Mag are H1000 and RL25. H1000 being slightly better. Here's a group with 168 Berger VLDH bullets. They shoot best just off the lands.

My stock Ruger tanger 7mm RM shortly before barrel was toast. Only bedded action and floated stock.

200 yds
