I am going to do a GAP camo job on an old stock with Krylon. Should I use a clear coat? If so, what is the toughest/best when it comes to standing up to chipping/solvent/chemicals?
I can't attest to the long term durability, but I used the krylon 'matte clear' as a top coat for my recent krylon rattle can camo job. Even with several coats, it retained a fairly matte finish - which is what I was looking for.
