Best 7mm out there now

I've been out of the game since before my wife passed away. So now I'm wanting to get me a varmint rifle, since I have my .375 Ruger for deer and such

It seems you like to stuff a big load of powder in your cases. The easy button may be the 28 Nosler for you. Barrel life won't be the best, but velocity always comes at a price.

How do they compare to the 7 RUM ? Similar speeds without cooking a barrel in 1000 rounds?

Something tells me that if I said 7mm was a little "overkill" for a varmint gun you would like it even more....

I have on occasion hunted groundhogs with my 7 STW and 90 grain hammer hunters, but then I'm certifiable. Pretty cool to see a 10 pound mammal flipping through the air like a prairie dog hit by a 22-250.

You know the STW is one I had forgotten about completely and it's based on those old belted cases I love so much.

After watching, a 7 PRC, 24" Proof, Tikka action recently, with 180's clocking at, 2,980 to 3,000 FPS and into, Smallish, .311 Ctr to Ctr Groups, I'm,. SOLD !
Very manageable barrel Jump and recoil with, the PVA, 3 Port, Jet Blast Brake !

Like I said, I had forgotten about it. I love belted mags. The .300 Win Mag is my all time, all around favorite. But the 7 STW in a Sendero would be right heavenly.

280ai if you hand load 7mm rem mag if you don't and you don't want a 7prc it's like the Creedmoor of the 7mm class and people will make fun of you for having one……anyways off the trim some 6.5 creed brass hope this Helps!
