KAHLES is extremely proud to be the very first company in the world to fully maximize the ergonomics of rifle scope design for both right and left handed shooters in a full production line product. With contemporary rifle scope design in high magnification optics where a parallax control adjustment is required, two methods have historically been implemented; front objective adjustment and a turret on the side of the adjustment saddle. Placement of the parallax turret on the side of the adjustment saddle was always on the left side of the scope since all manufacturers placed the windage adjustment on the right side and elevation on top.

With KAHLES'S revolutionary top mounted parallax, ergonomics were enhanced for both right and left handed shooters for this important control as it is easily reached from either side of the rifle. Right and left handed shooters from across the United States sent such high amounts of positive feedback to Kahles about this arrangement that KAHLES responded once again to consumer demand for enhanced ergonomics. KAHLES recognized that ergonomics of current rifle scope design could be enhanced even further. Thus, the Left Side Windage configuration was created in the new K312i rifle scope which began production in 2015.

The LSW configuration has now been introduced to the best-selling K624i! This configuration, in conjunction with the top mounted parallax, optimizes modern rifle scope design for right handed shooters in a high magnification optic. Now, the shooter has the ability to maintain stock weld and use their non-firing eye to view all primary adjustments on their scope. The windage turret is right in front of the non-firing eye, and the elevation turret with parallax wheel are on top of the scope and also in view. No longer does the right handed shooter have to break stock weld to roll their face over the top of the stock to either verify or make a change to their windage adjustment. The firing hand can maintain control of the rifle while making adjustments with the support side hand. This fully enhanced and optimized ergonomic configuration provides the shooter with less movement once in firing position and easier access to all primary controls. Speed and efficiency are the byproduct of the KAHLES design.

Standard configuration windage adjustment models (right side) with the famous KAHLES top mounted parallax are still being produced to support the high number of left handed shooters and those that prefer this familiar arrangement. KAHLES is known around the world as "The Riflescope Pioneer" for a reason, and KAHLES continues its long history of innovation with the most ergonomic rifle scopes
available.
