I've used and seen used the 300 winmag with the older Barnes 180 XBT. I and a friend found the Barnes to be a real killer on plains game ( 4 hunts in SA & Namibia) I also used a 340W, 35WAI and the 375H&h. I could see no difference int he field for deer/elk sized game. I'm sure the NAB would work swell too. However, I know the Barnes works from any angle in the 300 Win, I imagine it would do even better in the faster 300 BEE. With Banres ( or any mono bullet) faster is always better!
Because of a few train wrecks with Barnes, you will never see them on my reloading bench again.
The Accubond bullet has been perfect and very accurate.
Thanks, Kirk
Check out the Hammer Bullets if you're considering the Barnes. They're significantly higher quality. I've had good luck with both Barnes and Accubonds though.
