Awesome new torches for my annealer!

I cobbled together various hoses and fittings from the hardware store.

(bumping an old thread to the top)

I am a "small batch" annealer, and am currently using an EP Integrations flame annealer.

I am looking to reduce dwell time when annealing. Both of the swirl type torch heads mentioned in this thread in 2016 are no longer available. Can any of you flame-annealers recommend a better torch head than the common inexpensive pencil flame torch head? This would be for use with the 1 quart propane bottles. By "better" I mean something that is hotter and heats more evenly than the pencil flame type.

I'd be willing to change fuel type, too, if the new fuel reduces dwell time and is easily available.

I know some are going to recommend an AMP annealer, or switching to 1 gallon propane tanks, etc., but for simplicity and reduced cost, I would like to stick with the EP Integrations annealer and 1 qt bottles, for now.

Thanks!

Look up Turbo Torch. Lennox also makes one. You can find them in different configurations (hoses or direct connect). They have been around for about 20 years.
