I consider the wheel system on on the Atlas more of a friction ring than a lock as found on the Harris. When first received the Atlas ring will be very stiff. After use it will allow the rifle to tilt and turn under friction without having to constantly adjust the adjustment wheel. Once set in position by just moving the rifle, it will hold the position very well when executing the shot. This is possible because there is more surface area in the bushing/contact area compared to the Harris which operates more like an on/off locking system. It's a very nice design and probably contributes to the cost being 2x the Harris. IMO
