Area 231 Nevada...................for Elk

I put in for area 231 for my Cow Elk in Nevada.................I have never been in that part of the state right next to the Utah boarder, was wondering if anyone was familure with that area for Elk or Deer ...........................??

I put in for everything in that area. Never been. A friend went last year for speed goats and saw elk, deer and got a shot at a buck but missed.

My brother-inlaw bow hunted the area and took a 399 bull..................said 350 bulls were a dime a dozen. He bow hunted the area a few years ago and never saw so many huge Mule Deer Bucks.....................Like I said I have never been there and having 9 points for Cow Elk promted me to go.

Well good luck to you!!!! I hope I get drawn for something. But I already have elk in NM and Montana combo tag so another draw might make it hard!!!!
