This is what I use for measuring spots. Used it today and checked line of sight on the ground. Found me 670 yards to use.
Yes sir. Hit the yellow button on the top right, and it zeros in where you are.Does it allow you to use GPS of your position. So you can save an initial location then go to another location and read the distance between the two?
Are you cutting down the tree line...or using indirect fire and a forward observer? This is what I use for measuring spots. Used it today and checked line of sight on the ground. Found me 670 yards to use.

What you can't see in the overhead picture, is that the shooting position, and the target position is a good 200 feet above the trees in the middle. Its hillside to hillside. Are you cutting down the tree line...or using indirect fire and a forward observer?
Not sure if this was sarcasm or not, but I don't think a bullet from my 300 RUM will get tired and fall in the middle lol 200 feet is a conservative estimate. At least I'm not shooting over people's cows lolIt's good to know that you'll be shooting 200 feet over that road.
