Anyone with a Model 700 Long Range Rifle?

One of my shooting buddies little brother wanted to limp into the LR game and decided on the 700 LR in 7mm Rem Mag. Topped it with a Vortex HSLR I believe...and although it wasn't the best choice for LR ammo...
He picked up a box of 162 SST Superformance to zero with and use until he could work up a load for 168 Hunting VDLs.

He has a solid 1/2 MOA load for the VLDs now...but much to all of our surprise. It does this with the SST factory ammo with alarming regularity.J

Here is my 3 shot group with the 06 Rem 700 LR disregard the hole to the right. That was my first fouling shot and I had a cast on my shooting arm from carpal tunnel surgery. The 3 shot group I was using my left trigger finger with a normal right shoulder hold on a bipod. Very un comfortable shooting but surgery wasn't gonna hold me back. Rifle was zeroed for 250 for hunting deer the week prior to my surgery. Not making excuses here but this gun shoots better than I can.
