I have several pounds of rl23 and ran out of rl22 loading 7 rem mag 162 grain eldx bullets federal 215 primers. Norma brass.

Any comparison on min max loads my Hornady book is a couple of years old and doesn't list rl 23.
it is more temperature stable Th rl22
just trying to work up ladde loads but want to know my limits.

I've used quite a bit of RL23 in 280AI and in my experience its just a tad slower than Rl22. In my opinion its a better than 22 in accuracy and stability.
I think if you just start 1 gr lower and work up for safety you will be fine.

I also have used both RL 22 & RL 23. Given a choice I would go for RL 23. Looking at my old load data there are no RL 23 loads using less charge weights than RL 22 with similar components. RL 23 is my powder of choice for .243 W with 105's.

From Alliant's site. It will get you close. This is their max so reduce and run it up.
