The anticipation of next week is exciting for me, as I get released to do more with my knee, and I am going to be hunting mule deer and antelope at a place I really enjoy being at.
I want to do more with a revolver (44 Magnum Franken-Ruger), but crawling a long distance will be okay to do (I found out yesterday), but my knee is still pretty tender there.
Will be hunting with a Bayside Custom Gunworks center-grip XP in 6.5 Creed that has Holland's new Game Getter scope on it, and one of his brakes on the barrel.
I do take off the large parallax wheel on mine.
Easy to do by just loosening a couple of set screws.
Had one of our new guys at WY-SHOT this year use this XP/scope combo and he fell in love with it. The bigger parallax adjustment ring seems gaudy to me.
