Alpen apex scopes.

Has anyone here used one or know someone who does. There only bad thing that I can find wrong with them is they are made in china. But then there life time cover warranty covers that. Cheaper than burris or leopold and better than average optics for the money. Any info on these scopes would be cool.

I had an Alpen spotting scope...for three days or so until I had a chance to return it. It was like looking through a fish bowl.
