Agree completely! Two rifle and five triggers with Timney. I ordered a Tactical for my Pierce. It has a roller sear. I hope it works.
Just curious if any of your Timney experiences included the Calvin Elite model? Thanks!

The one on my Pearce was. It had creep and finally just would not catch the trigger so the rifle could be fired. Timney replaced it with a new in the package; which I promptly sold. The other was the regular. They replaced it twice and the second one is on the rifle that is being rebarreled. Let's hope for the best.
No, ive already switched to jewell when they came out with the calvin elite, and i dont see the savings as reason to give them another try. I belive the jewell has a wider range of adjustment and had proven itself on multiple applications at multiple pull weights to convince me it is a great buy.
I had two customers just recently request timneys for two different builds and both had to be sent back. I personally believe its simply a poor design. Its a good thing they have nice customer service.
I've heard about Timneys' excellent CS and Jewell's terrible CS but I do not have personal experience on either product/CS.
Thanks!
