Do you know if the only difference in this stock for the 338LP and the 300 win mag is the Magazine. I have a 300 WM. Wondering if there is a big difference or if it would work.

It works with a 300 win mag. the only difference is that it allows you to use 338 lapua cip length magazines which give you more room to seat the bullets out.

I actually bought it with a 300 win mag barreled action in it and it was used on purpose so that mag length was longer.
