Fred, I went to the range today with the Sako. I ended up trying some 162 A-maxes, that have shown me good promise. This time I went back to my trusty supply of RL-22. I dropped in 75.5 grains@ 3.700 coal. The mag box on this Sako is LONG. It was to windy today to shoot at 200, and actually breezy enough that I did not set up my chrono either. I had to time my shooting, but I got consistent grouping @ 100 yards. Smallest group, .390, largest group, .424. I did not shoot the 168's today, as I wanted to shoot some other groups, and concentrate on the 162's. I was impressed to say the least. As far as the Sierra book goes, I am at max recommendation with RL22. I had NO pressure signs at all. I would like to be in the 3200-3250 velocity area with these bullets as well. I probably am not there now, but hopefully can get the chrono out next weekend. Just an update! AIM SMALL, MISS SMALL. lightbulbgun) 7STW.
