I settled on the 24". Lone peak fusion action with proof carbon prefit. Screwed on and timed up perfectly. Just did some break in rounds yesterday. Will get some preliminary velocity's shooting factory hunter precision 175s later this week
Bart carbon.
I saw this. They didn't post velocity but energy was posted. It seemed like there wasn't much of a difference. Leaning toward the 22"
Number 13.What contour is it?
What does it weigh do you know like it sitsNumber 13.
That's what she saysMy wife went with a 28" barrel. She thinks if she is going to deal with magnum recoil, she wants magnum performance. She likes to use a can from time to time and the length doesn't bother her. She shoots PRS with a 22lb rifle, so another 4 ounces of weight doesn't bother her either.
I took a 26" barrel 7 PRC to Texas back in December, suppressed the entire time, and killed 14 deer with it. I think I've built 25 or so 7 PRC rifles now, and I don't hate any of them.
What barrel are you running? My 22" barrel after 90 rounds with 175 factory ammo.

8nbait, I'm Just curious if you have started running a suppressor on your 22" 7mm PRC. I have been struggling with which length barrel I should get, 22" or 24". I do plan on probably getting a suppressor in the future and that is the only reason I would choose 22". But again I'm not sure. I also read on another forum that you have been reloading for 7mm PRC with 180gr and H4831SC using Standard 210M Large rifle primers over Magnum 215 primers. I have about 5 lbs of H4831SC so I'd love to gain as much knowledge on this from you as it appears you gone through this process already. Thanks for anything you can share.
