7MM WSM loads-help needed

I get the bullets from midway and the brass is Winchester.. The Hornady Concentricity gauge is truly awesome. This insures good runout and makes all the difference in the world. A must have tool. This past week we shot a 5 to 6 inch 3 shot group at 1140 yards.

That's awesome shooting NCBoy!

I ordered some 300WSM Norma brass and am planning to neck it down to 7WSM ...

Is anyone else doing this?

Also, I had some Retumbo laying around and wanted to fireform some 300WSM Federal brass to 7WSM.

I used 72.8 gr Retumbo, FED215M primers, 168Berger VLDs at a COL of 3.00 inches in Fed 300WSM cases.

Load looks promissing, but I was only fireforming the Federal brass.

Not sure how long the primer pockets will hold out in the Federal brass ...

Thanks. I will tell you. The gun and caliber make it easy. People can say all they want. the 7MM calibers are shooters. It is a great bullet and easy to shoot when you have good components.
