One way or another, I'm getting a new rifle. Debating 264 Win (have brass and dies) or 7mm RM (have brass and dies). Before the unrelated posts start piling up, I'm not particularly interested in "YOU SHOULD GET A..." I have my criteria, and simply need some more data to make my own informed decision.
Question is, what sort of real world velocities are folks getting for the heavy for caliber 7mm pills? 168, 175, 180 etc. I'll almost certainly be choosing a 24" barrel, so data for that is even better. Published 7mm RM data is pretty spotty once you go above 160 (other than the fatty round nose bullets).
I'm also not all that interested in "bleeding edge" speeds. It's welcome data, but I like to run my rifles a smidge under max if they'll give me good precision. If I wanted 28 Nosler speeds from a 7mm Mag, then I'd buy a 28 nosler...
