7mm-338lapua necking down?

What are you using to neck the 338 lapua to 7mm? are you going in to a 30cal neck die then a 7mm neck die and then in the sizing die? trying to keep from waisting brass .

I use a Redding 338 Lapua Mag Competition-Bushing neck sizing die and take in down in 4 steps. The last one leaves a false shoulder for fireforming. I've done hundreds of cases and never lost one yet

None of it's set in stone but I use a 359, 343, 329 and a 316.

Are you shooting actual loads while firforming or using cornmeal?

I shoot slightly reduced loads when fireforming and shoot the 200 grain Wildcats also while fireforming. They make great long range practice rounds out to any range and I've killed a couple head of big game using the fireforming loads.
