Ok I have a 7mag with a 8tiwst criterion 26" barrel I have thought about trying the 195s in. Would it really be worth it can the 180s they are going right at 3000 with retumbo. I thought about trying them with rl26, and retumbo is rl26 a good powder for the 7mag or should I stick with the retumbo and h1000? I have some h1000 and about 9.5 pounds of retumbo. Any advice on this would be great.

Retumbo should work well for the 195's. Seeing how you have 9.5 lbs of it, that would be my first powder to try. H1000 is also a great powder for the 7mm but I think performance wise, Retumbo will trump it. I'm not saying more accurate, just faster.
I have no experience with RL26 so I can't say anything about it.
Myself, I would reach for VV N570 to try with the 195's. I've had very good luck with it and the 180 VLD's.

I found the node at the top of pressure with h1000 in my 7rm with 197smk. Had to switch to retumbo and I'm .5gr from pressure but it shoots them extremely well

I found RL26 to work great with the 180 weight class and Retumbo for the 195. That was in my 8.5 twist Rock. I shot a few animals with the 195 and it seems to expand very rapidly with a muzzle velocity of 2900 fps. Bears and a few deer.

In that weight class on game, I'd try the 180 Scenar. That one has been great on elk, mule deer, and bears to 700 yards.
