75gr. A-Max in Ar-15

    Has anyone shot the 75gr. A-Max in an Ar-15 1-9 twist barrel? Can you give me the C.O.L. and was it a single load. Thank you.

    My OAL was 2.450". At magazine length, the bearing surface of the bullet was almost pushed though the neck.

    I've heard of people using them in AR's however it must be single loaded due to the OAL.

    I used to load them in my 20" Ar15 It did stabilize in the 1-9" and was exceptionally accurate. I don't remember the OAL.

    I used them as a deer load in my AR-15. They looked horrible seated to fit the magazine, but they dropped deer like no other .22 bullet I've ever seen.
