I'm sure this will be a can of worms and may have been discussed in the past. Tell me the pros and cons. I am looking to buy a mini howa and wondering if I should wait for a 6ARC or get a 6.5 grendal.
Looking for something to hunt coyotes, fox, bobcats, hogs, whitetail. For a smaller framed hunter. They are shooting a 223 right now.

Grendel. Yes, I have both. Bullet selection for 6.5 vs .244/6mm is not even on same playing field. Most ammo I've seen for Arc is for target (above 90gr) or predator/varmints (under 90gr).

Grendel for more factory ammo availability, 6 ARC if you are going to load.

Find you a Nosler 120gr BT load and go hunting, even the factory 120gr BT is a good performer.

I had both, just have a couple of Grendels now. No dust on the ARC though

I have 3 Grendels, the ARC doesn't beat it until past where you are most likely going to shoot coyotes. Moscow match Wolf with 2 grains added Wolf powder gets 2700+ wth a 90g TNT with good accuracy. I shot a decent deer with the 120 cor lokt and it worked fine, 2400fps. The ARC is impressive but in reality doesn't do much more than the Grendel until the yardage is 500+.
