The 270 AM did it again. Now my longest kill to date with this rifle. I ranged him at 668, 669, 666 yards, so 10.0 MOA it was. Dialed up and held on the bedded buck and forgot my ear plugs. Got them out, put them in and now was ready, boom! Looked in the scope and saw his head hit the ground, didn't move. Like an idiot, I didn't get any field photos, no camera. Finally remembered after it was loaded. 14 1/2 in, nice heavy cutters and 1/2 to 3/4 of ivory on each tip. All estimated. Didn't have a tape measure either and already at the taxidermist. Yes, it's gutted, just doesn't look like it, weird! I need to take camera lessons from Len.
