The 270 AM did it again. Now my longest kill to date with this rifle.
I ranged him at 668, 669, 666 yards, so 10.0 MOA it was. Dialed up and held on the bedded buck and forgot my ear plugs. Got them out, put them in and now was ready, boom! Looked in the scope and saw his head hit the ground, didn't move.

Like an idiot, I didn't get any field photos, no camera. Finally remembered after it was loaded.
14 1/2 in, nice heavy cutters and 1/2 to 3/4 of ivory on each tip. All estimated. Didn't have a tape measure either and already at the taxidermist.
Yes, it's gutted, just doesn't look like it, weird! I need to take camera lessons from Len.
 
Very nice antelope! You beat me by 448 yards. But my buck was walking towards me. What bullet/powder/primer did you use?

How far off the lands are your wildcat bullets? About how many shots before you clean when using WC872? Just curious.

I found that the powder is very dirty but cleans up really easy.
