6.5 x284 and superformance?

Has anyone tried superformance with the 6.5x284? On the hodgens burn rate chart it is right after h4831sc. I am looking for a starting charge to see how it does. Could I start at the h4831sc load data?

After 7 years I am sure there is, Hornady put it superformance in their reloading manuals with the 6.5-284

Hornady 120-123gn from 11th Edition:
2800 FPS - 47.4gn
MAX 3100 FPS - 53.1gn

Hornady 147gn from 11th Edition:
2600 FPS - 45.7gn
MAX 2900 FPS - 51.6gn

Not listed for 95-100gn, 129-130gn, 147gn, or 160gn.


I'd start at 93% of the max myself, Hornady goes a little far off the bottom end sometimes.

I have another question .......hate to ask it but will anyway! Has anyone tried LRT powder in the 6.5 Creed with 147 Hornady's? Reason being ,I have 1 Pound of it left that I had opened and 85 215 Mag. Match primers left from my .300 PRC I got rid of,too expensive for my 76 year old pocket to shoot anymore, Pete
