Good afternoon. I have some RL26 and H1000 and need some good starting loads for 160 Grn Woodleigh bullets. I also have some 156 Bergers as well. The rifle has a 24" barrel and will be using ADG brass. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I'll take the bait........................
Neither of those two powders would work in mine (Browning X-Bolt Pro) with 156 Berger.......but 57 grains RL-25 with 156 Berger was awesome. 9/16" 300 yard 3 shot group.........YMMV.

I have some loads worked up with the 156 EOL using both powders in a CA Ridgeline. Results were very similar with both powders as well (2900+fps and .25" - .50" groups at 100 yards). I ended up going with the 142 ABLR as the dedicated load in this rifle though because it's just as accurate and getting 3100fps. Ballistically, the 142 wins well beyond any distance I'll be shooting at game.
Anyway, I'll check my notes this evening and give you some specifics. I do recall the 54-55 grain range with H1000 was a sweet spot.

With RL26 and 156EOL, the best load was 54.7gr at .055" jump.
With H1000 the max load in this rifle was 56.8gr. at .040" jump. Sticky bolt but great velocity and groups. Below 56 gains was safer pressures...
