6.5-284 question

can a 260 remington be rechambered to 6.5-284 if not is there any caliber that can. Ive never seen a 260 remington so I have no idea what it looks like in comparison to the 6.5-284 so maybe this is a dumb question but I'm sure someone here knows the answer

Yes, the 6.5-284 is both larger in diameter, longer through the shoulder and has a sharper shoulder angle as well. FWIW, the 6.5-284 is more at home in a long action . . .
