I have had great results using a small amount of Pistol powder (Unique or Accurate #5).. about 15 grains, and then using a lee 3.0 CC scoop of cornmeal. I use a paraffin wax plug instead of an expensive bullet. I have a controlled feed action so the extractor keeps the case head firmly against the bolt face. I just chamber my "blank", hold the rifle vertical and fire. I get a perfect case every time.. This also works for Gibbs' cases where the shoulder must be relocated
