Is it just me or is N570 dirty.
I waited for months and months to get some Vit N570 for my 28 nos. However now that I have it ...it seems to be very dirty. It is the lot that has become available in the lasts 6 months. I don't have any right here handy to list the lot #. I got some from Powder Valley a few weeks ago.
I found a decent load and velocity but no better than what I was getting with R33, but accuracy in my 28 starts to fall apart after about 7-8 shots, and it takes some real scrubbing with a bronze bore brush to get all of the powder residue out.
second question....which cleaner is the most effective on powder residue. I typically use Shooters Choice.... as an experiment I conducted several years ago showed it to be better than the competition on copper removal, but for powder residue removal one really has the scrub and scrub.
