53 Gr. VMax

I use that round pretty exclusively for hunting out of my AR's. I get really good results and very consistant from box to box.

Its not a fur friendly round though and with the ballistic tips, be careful of your shot placement. Luckily i never hit the shoulder bone, but have had people tell me they wouldn't penetrate through the shoulder and just got a splash.

Good luck to you.

If they are anything like the 50 grain vmax, they hit like a hammer and put dogs down real good. You do have to watch your shot placement. Shoulder shots aren't a good idea with the vmax.
