4895 or Varget for garand

I like imr and H 4895 and use both. Also use both imr 4064 and Varget. The IMR 4895 is a bit more suspect to swings in temperature but predictable and accurate. Imr 4064 is actually very temp stable. I was fortunate enough to put up a good bit of powder before the drought. You might try Accurate 2495. It's in the ballpark burn rate wise and has been available.
I have an AR 10 that is very finicky. It likes AR Comp. But AR comp has been extremely scarce so I can certainly relate. AR comp has also been best in my 6.5 Grendel's and ES and SD numbers it turns in are amazing.
