I agree with sniper2,you might wanna try imr 7828. I load 60 grains with 160 nosler partions(lightest load in nosler's reloading guide).He has no problem with the recoil on this load. He took a 279lb black bear last fall with this load.Year before took 400lb black bear plus with my 280 loaded with 160 partitons. I know, it's a combination of bullets and powder, but thats all I shoot is partions.
Anyway, very accurate in our guns. oh yeh, got a looker and a shooter too!!(browning a-bolt 7mm-08,43 grains varget and a 140 nosler partion).If she doesn't quit almost out-hunting me every year, that reload recipe could change,hehe. good luck on whatever powder works for ya! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
