Has anoyone used 4007SSC?

I was thinking of trying it in my .243 Ackley.....................


There is a guy at work that say he is getting 3700fps from his 25-06 using a 120gr bullet.................................What would you say to someone who tells you that?

I would say he needs to get his chrony checked. In all seriousness I use it in a 300WSM it litterally shoots 1 hole groups. Velocity is nothing to write home about.

So you use 4007 in your 300 Great accuracy but not much in velocity?

I like accuracy but velocity to ............................What bullet wt are you getting and what is your velocity?

175 gr @ about 2900fps. My chrony seems be a lttle slow compared to others I have compared it to. So actual velocity might be closer to 3000.

175 @ 3000 Thats impressive..............................I believe a 180 in a 30-06 will get you around 2650

and thats with 4007 sounds like a load that you will be sticking with.
