Hi all just change projectiles and and just went to test them. Just wanting some advice. On where to go next I feel like 96.5 is a good start but 97 didn't show any pressure signs so maybe more powder may srink the groups I do t know. What does

I'm not sure what your group size is at 96.0 grains compared to 96.5 but I would try some smaller grain increments between/around those two to see if things tighten up based on what you are sharing. Did you find pressure signs at a higher charge weight? Have you done any seating depth testing yet?

I would play around with 96.5 by loading 96.2 and 96.8. Repeat these same charges with a different primer too. Have seen groups shrink and go perfectly round with just a primer change.
I'm not liking the vertical, but that could have been you and not the rifle.

Cheers.
