.375 cheytac build under 16lbs

Jeremy,I kilt a beer can at 1k with my second 338NM,on fourth shot out of the rifle for me.Playing then was going to paper n wind picked up.

Lol sorry bravo 4 but the only way I would get rid of my 375 cheytac would be a large sum of cash. It shoots so well at long range I would have a hard time letting it go

Yeah I was kidding...kinda!:D
My 375 Snipetac is the same way, hard to believe it is as accurate as it is. Just wish it were a little more carry friendly.

The couple lbs. of extra weight are worth the horsepower to me. I would never of guessed you could get bench rest accuracy from a Cheytac. Love this caliber.
Sounds like most Cheytac builds are extremely accurate from what I've read.

Does your guys shoot well at say 100yrds? Mine is nothing special at 100 but then say 800yrds on it stays under 1/2moa out to 2000 if I do my part? At 100 sometimes it's like 1.25inches just wondering if that's common

With proper handling it will shoot in the 2's at 100. I've done a couple 3 rounders that I swore missed the paper on the 3rd shot. I honestly think Vestal expects these rifles to shoot bug holes. I've only taken mine out to 2300. Amazingly Repeatable
I've only shot a hundred rounds out of mine. Took about 50 to figure out this specific rifle. In the end it's the same as my 4s. I was super overbearing on the rifle. Lightened up a little on the grip cut from 3 ish 4 ish to solid 2's. Cheytac's are just another gun after all.

The top photo is 3 shots at 100 with the 350 CEB Lazer, the bottom is a 5 shot group with 375 Hammer Hunters. It will do about the same with 375 Chinchagas.

I still need to work up a load for the new 411 grain Hammers that Steve sent, I expect great things!:D

This is what it will consistently do at 800, that's with the Chinchagas.
Fired a 3 shot group, made an adjustment and fired a couple more to confirm.

Edited: sorry, I deleted one picture as I found the rest and realized it was the wrong one, I cannot add a picture after editing, however the results were the same but just on the water line.

The MTH do not expand by what I've seen. Wanting more of a hunting bullet. Told Vestal Rocky Mountain was my first choice but couldn't find them. George sent me a 350 and 375 for throating. Chinchaga is similar?

Yep, same concept and design but I don't know about the actual specs (ogive, boattail, bearing surface length, etc). It did a lot of damage to the only animal I have shot with one. I think they would definitely expand at really long ranges.
I used the MTH in my .408 Cheytac and they were very accurate as far out as I had shot them (well past 2000). However I was not impressed with the expansion and terminal performance. If you like Cutting Edge then try the Lazer line. Just a tiny bit less BC but supposed to expand down to 1300 fps. Another great option is the Hammer Hunter (in any caliber). They haven't quite got as high BC as the CEB Lazer or MTH, but it is still up there. They are made for terminal performance above all else, and so far they do perform! Plus they have been the very accurate and easiest bullet to load for that I have ever tried. I now load them in half a dozen rifles.

Messing around in the shop and threw this picture together, all HBN coated except the Hammer Hunter:
411 gr Hammer Hunter
375 gr Chinchaga
325 gr Chinchaga
350 gr CEB Lazer
350 gr MatchKing
